Roy Alan Mears began his construction carrier in the early '70s after completing his military obligation with an honorable discharge.
Starting with light commercial work and residential renovations in Annapolis, his love for Maryland's Eastern Shore prompted him to relocate his family and construction business to a farm house in Templeville.
In 1976, Roy moved to Chestertown and established himself as one of the leading builders in the Eastern Shore area through quality custom work.
With expertise in custom home lines and solar energy, Roy has helped introduce eco-friendly and sustainable building to the region.
As a proponent of solar and green building, Roy encourages customers to consider eco-friendly opportunities throughout the entire construction and renovation process. Beyond installing "green" energy-saving devices such as solar attic fans, Roy helps customers choose the best renewable materials to fit their projects and accommodate their budgets.
